Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within specialist SEN & SEMH Schools across South Manchester. You will support students with a variety of additional needs in a warm, inclusive classroom environment.

Role focuses on 1:1 support, small group interventions and differentiated activities, with a DBS check required. The position offers ongoing CPD, a dedicated local consultant and opportunities to develop a career in SEN settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Full-time availability (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm) preferred.
• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

Teaching Personnel are seeking compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work within specialist schools across South Manchester. We are looking for individuals who want to make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people with a wide range of educational, behavioural and emotional needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a variety of additional needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Moderate and Complex Learning Difficulties
• Sensory Processing Difficulties
• Physical Disabilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
