SEN Teaching Assistant

The School and Role

We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic supply team and work in a SEND School in Morpeth. We work with a variety of schools across the area, so we can find a placement that suits your experience, skills, and schedule.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant on supply, you’ll gain valuable experience across different classrooms and settings, supporting students who may find school and everyday life challenging. You’ll play a key role in encouraging engagement, promoting positive behaviour, and helping young people thrive.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
  • A passion for education and helping others.
  • A nurturing, patient, and engaging personality.
  • The ability to promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
