Job summary

FOX MORRIS GROUP LTD is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND in a secondary setting from Year 7 to Sixth Form. This full-time, ongoing role starts 21st September and runs Monday to Friday, 8:15am–3:10pm.

You will work with teachers and the SEND team to deliver class-based support and targeted 1:1 assistance, fostering engagement, confidence and academic progress, with a patient, resilient and compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is mandatory.
• Background in education, care, support work, youth work, or similar is encouraged.
• Patient, resilient, and compassionate approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Providing classroom-based support to students with SEND.
• Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH.
• Delivering both general classroom support and targeted 1:1 support where required.
• Building positive relationships with students to encourage engagement, confidence, and academic progress.

Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis.

This rewarding role involves supporting students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential within a supportive school environment.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
