Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Dudley is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role in a school setting. You will support pupils with diverse SEN needs and assist with daily routines.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, personal care where required, and helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour while collaborating with teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential.
• Comfortable providing personal care as required.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• TA qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and communication needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support in the classroom.
• Assisting with personal care, including toileting and changing, where required.
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and daily routines.
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff.

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, full-time role in Dudley? We are currently recruiting a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning, develop their independence and reach their full potential.
