Job summary

Connex Education Partnership in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with diverse needs across partner schools. The role is on-site, with a daily rate of £90-£120, and an immediate start.

Experience in education or care, willingness to provide personal care, and resilience are valued as you help learners with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or SEMH. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in schools or similar settings.
• Willingness to provide personal care where necessary.
• Confidence and composure when working with challenging behaviour.
• Compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude.
• Current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education; proof of right to work in the UK.

About the Role

Connex Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across multiple partner schools in Stoke-on-Trent. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in education or care, or graduates passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs.

• Social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

What You’ll Need
