TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Carshalton, South London, starting as soon as possible. You will support pupils with additional learning needs in classroom and 1:1 settings, helping them access learning and stay engaged throughout the day.

The role offers competitive daily pay of £90-£120, PAYE payroll, and a chance to contribute to pupils' progress while working with experienced staff.

• Monitor pupils' engagement and progress.
• Follow individual support plans and strategies.
• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise pupils' wellbeing at all times.

TeacherActive is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Carshalton, South London, starting as soon as possible.

The school supports pupils with a range of special educational needs and additional learning needs. Pupils benefit from a structured and nurturing environment, with staff working closely together to provide individualised support that promotes learning, confidence, independence and positive behaviour.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide both classroom-based and individual support, helping pupils to access learning and remain engaged throughout the school day.

You will work alongside teachers and other support staff to adapt activities to individual pupils' needs, reinforce positive behaviour and provide additional support where required. Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils will be an important part of the role.

The successful candidate will be patient, reliable, proactive and confident, with a genuine interest in supporting children and young people with SEN.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
