Job summary

Long Term Futures is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Aldridge, Walsall. You will support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD and speech and language needs, in a nurturing learning environment.

You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to help pupils overcome barriers to learning, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions. A patient, caring and collaborative approach is essential to help children reach their full potential while safeguarding at

Qualifications

  • A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or related subject.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school or similar setting.
  • Patient, caring and resilient approach.

  • Genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

Location: Aldridge, Walsall WS9
Daily Pay Rate: £110 - 120
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary
