Long Term Futures is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant in Handsworth, Birmingham. You will provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support across the school, focusing on learners with ASC, ADHD and SLCN to help them access learning.
The role requires delivering literacy and communication interventions, using visual prompts and routines to promote independence, and supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour while following EHCP targets.

Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Long Term Futures are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Handsworth from September.
You’ll work with children who need additional support to access the classroom successfully, including pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs and social or emotional needs. The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships with children, recognise when a pupil is becoming overwhelmed and use consistent strategies to help them communicate, regulate and re-engage with learning.
