Whether you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, a care or support worker looking to transition into education, or simply someone with the passion and resilience to make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping them reach their full potential.

From supporting a pupil to communicate their needs for the first time to helping a young person build confidence and independence, your encouragement can have a lifelong impact.

This isn't just another Teaching Assistant role-it's an opportunity to change lives.

You'll work closely with teachers and other professionals to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • Moderate, Severe and Profound Learning Difficulties
  • Complex and Medical Needs

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support.
  • Encouraging communication, independence and social development.
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation using positive behaviour strategies.
  • Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs.
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
  • Celebrating every success-big or small.

We're looking for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals who are committed to making a positive difference.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience supporting children or vulnerable adults in education, care, residential or healthcare settings.
  • A positive, adaptable and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

No school experience? No problem! If you have transferable skills from care, support work, youth work, mental health support or healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.

As the UK's leading education recruitment agency, we offer:

  • Competitive weekly PAYE pay - no umbrella companies
  • Flexible, long-term and permanent opportunities to suit your lifestyle
  • Access to specialist SEN schools across Walsall and the Black Country
  • A dedicated education consultant who specialises in SEN recruitment
  • Free CPD including Autism Awareness, Team Teach, Behaviour Management and Safeguarding training
  • Opportunities for career progression within education
  • Simple online timesheets and hassle-free payroll
