Job summary

Norton College is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to deliver tailored learning for pupils with additional needs in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualified with QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree are required. The role involves developing IEPs, collaborating with families and external professionals, and ensuring progress for each pupil. Starts October 2026, 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Qualified with QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree required.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism or complex needs, is desirable.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons for individual learning needs.
• Adapt teaching approaches for a range of SEN and complex needs.
• Monitor progress, assess outcomes, and review IEPs and behaviour strategies.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and collaborate with external professionals.
