Job summary

Norton College in Tewkesbury is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join our team, delivering personalised teaching for pupils with a range of additional needs.

You will develop IEPs, adapt lessons for Autism and complex needs, and work closely with families and external professionals to achieve great outcomes.

This permanent, term-time only role starts October 2026, with 37.5 hours/week, 8:30am-4:00pm, and DBS safeguarding checks.

Qualifications

• QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree are required.
• Passionate about SEND education and helping pupils overcome learning barriers.
• Experience supporting children with Autism and complex learning profiles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Adapt teaching for pupils with SEN, including Autism and complex needs.
• Monitor progress and review IEPs and behaviour strategies.
• Create a safe, structured, inclusive classroom environment.
