Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support students with a range of additional needs in the Middlesbrough region. The role focuses on delivering differentiated lessons and creating an inclusive learning environment.

Applicants should hold QTS or equivalent, have SEN experience, strong behaviour management, and an up-to-date DBS. Flexible working and ongoing professional development are offered along with consultant support.

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.

About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the Middlesbrough region. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
