Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to support students with a range of additional needs in the Middlesbrough region. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons, tailor activities, and monitor progress to ensure inclusive education.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have SEN experience and strong behaviour management. Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply is required. Flexible working and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with SEN pupils.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Patient, empathetic and flexible approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and other professionals.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary.
