Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the Middlesbrough region. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual pupil needs and support students with ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

About the Role:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the Middlesbrough region. This is an exciting opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEN pupils (in a school or specialist setting)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
