Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to work in the Middlesbrough region. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual pupil needs and support students with ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with SEN pupils in school or specialist settings.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Patient, empathetic and flexible approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs and other professionals.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where necessary.
