Job summary

The Education Specialists (TES) are recruiting SEN Teachers for roles across Salford and surrounding areas within a large Multi Academy Trust.

You will support pupils with AUTISM, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs, delivering differentiated lessons and tracking progress toward EHCP targets. QTS required; DBS checks are needed; roles offer long-term stability and flexible across Trust schools.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent required.
  • Experience in SEN settings preferred.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Flexible, resilient and proactive.
  • Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and wider school teams.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress in line with EHCP targets.

Location: Salford & Surrounding Areas
Employer: The Education Specialists (TES)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-term / Ongoing / Flexible across Trust schools
Salary: £160 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered for strong applicants)

Exciting New Partnership - SEN Teachers Required

The Education Specialists (TES) are proud to announce a newly established partnership with a large Multi Academy Trust across the Salford and surrounding areas. As a result, all future agency recruitment for this Trust will be managed directly through TES.

We are now actively recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to support a range of Primary and Secondary specialist provisions within the Trust.

About the Role

You will be working with pupils who have a range of additional needs, which may include:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
  • PMLD / Complex Needs
  • Behavioural challengesRoles are available across both Primary and Secondary settings, with varying class sizes and support structures in place.
Key Responsibilities

  • Implement behaviour management strategies effectively

What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
  • Experience working within SEN or alternative provisions (preferred but not essential for strong candidates)
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
