Job summary

Mana Education are urgently recruiting SEN Teachers for a growing number of opportunities across specialist schools and SEND provisions in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas.

We welcome teachers with QTS or equivalent who have experience supporting children with SEND and a calm, adaptable approach. Roles include day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements, maternity cover, temp-to-perm, and permanent SEN positions across primary and secondary settings.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in SEN settings.
• Support pupils with a wide range of additional needs across primary and secondary.
• Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Contribute to long-term and short-term placements as required.
• Collaborate with schools and Mana Education consultants.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
