Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a trusted trust in Tameside and South Manchester to recruit an experienced SEN Teacher for English, Maths or Science specialism. The role is full-time, long-term with September start, delivering tailored lessons to SEN pupils.

You will work with the SENCO and support staff, adapt strategies, monitor progress and maintain an inclusive, nurturing classroom aligned to the pupils' needs.

Qualifications

  • QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification – must have completed ECT years
  • Experience working in a special school or mainstream setting with SEN pupils
  • Skilled in behaviour management and differentiated teaching
  • A calm, patient, and resilient nature
  • Passionate about inclusive education and committed to every child's success

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEN pupils
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support learning and engagement

Location: Tameside and South Manchester

Salary: £220 ‑ £260 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Type: Full‑time, Long‑Term

Start Date: September
