Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking qualified teachers for SEND roles across Bristol. Immediate starts are available for daily, short-term and long-term placements, with competitive rates and weekly pay.

Successful applicants will have QTS, UK classroom experience, and a strong track record in supporting pupils with diverse needs, including EHCPs. DBS Update service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• UK classroom teaching experience is required.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is required.
• Understanding of EHCPs and differentiated teaching approaches is valuable.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the needs of SEND pupils.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils' academic, social, emotional and communication development.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources for accessibility and participation.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents and external professionals.
• Maintain high expectations while supporting pupils to achieve goals.
• Follow safeguarding, behaviour and SEND policies at all times.

Pay Rate: £130 - £180 per day (depending on experience and role)
