Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow is seeking an SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to pupils with ASC, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, and learning disabilities.

You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement IEPs and EHCPs, deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions, adapt materials, promote independence, and monitor progress while safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils with ASC, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and learning disabilities.
  • Experience implementing IEPs and EHCPs with collaboration from teachers and SENCOs.
  • Ability to adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.
  • Promotes pupil independence, confidence and positive self-esteem.

Responsibilities

  • Support children with special educational needs across the curriculum.
  • Work with class teachers and SENCOs to implement IEPs and EHCPs.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to develop academic, social, and behavioural skills.
