Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is helping an Essex SEN school recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support both primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs. Start ASAP, full-time or part-time roles, with strong commitment to pupil wellbeing and personalised support.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, assist with communication and emotional regulation, follow EHCP targets, and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals in a nurturing, structured environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable working across primary and secondary age groups.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN schools in Essex that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible. This person will work in small groups or 1:1 with children who have a range of needs.

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
