Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group are working with a well-resourced SEN school in Harlow/Essex, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.

The role starts ASAP and is full-time and long-term, with ongoing consultant support. You will help with communication, emotional regulation and helping learners follow EHCP targets, in a calm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Comfortable across primary and secondary age groups.
• Supports non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
• Willing to provide personal care when needed.
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes.

• Follow EHCP targets and individual support plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Harlow/Essex that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
