Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for an Epping/Ongar school, supporting pupils with SEN across primary and secondary levels. The role starts ASAP and offers full-time, long-term prospects with ongoing consultant support.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, help with communication and emotional regulation, and follow EHCP targets. Experience with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or complex needs is preferred, with DBS Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups.
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils.
  • Willing to support personal care where needed.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Epping/Ongar that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.
