Job summary

Remedy Education is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant in Harlow/Essex to support pupils with diverse needs across both primary and secondary phases. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping with communication, regulation and learning engagement in a nurturing environment.

Starting ASAP, this full-time, long-term role offers ongoing consultant support and potential permanent opportunities within a well-resourced SEN school. A patient, dedicated approach is essential to succeed.

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Harlow/Essex that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
• Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
• Willing to support personal care where needed
• Strong team player with a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
