Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking caring, patient SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in supportive schools in Morden (SM4). Opportunities include flexible day-to-day supply work or longer placements, with ongoing training and dedicated consultant support.

Ideal candidates have experience with SEN, are patient and adaptable, and hold or are willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS. All roles include safeguarding duties in line with DfE guidance and a commitment to children's welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to obtain Enhanced DBS Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language needs.
• Providing 1:1 and small group support both inside and outside the classroom.
• Assisting pupils with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
• Helping to implement behaviour and support strategies.
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support pupil progress.
