Milk Education are seeking a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to work within a specialist school in New Malden. You will support pupils with learning and development needs, assist with lessons, and help pupils communicate and become more independent.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people is desirable.
• An interest in SEN and inclusive education.
• Patient, observant and adaptable.
• Comfortable working in a specialist setting.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of learning and developmental needs.
• Assist with structured lessons, group work and practical activities.
• Provide individual support where required.

• Work alongside teaching staff to support pupils' individual goals.
