Job summary

Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare, part of Pathway Trust, is recruiting three Learning Support Assistants to join our SEND team. You will support pupils with planned lessons, assist with resource preparation and help pupils engage confidently in learning.

Qualifications

Experience supporting pupils with individual needs, particularly those with SEN needs.
Able to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing needs.
Confident delivering pre-planned lessons to small groups.
Builds strong, positive relationships with students, staff and families.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

Deliver classroom support for pupils, planned and supervised by teachers.
Assist with resource preparation, display and care and support of pupils including health care.
Keep records of work and liaise with colleagues, parents, carers and third parties when necessary.
