Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support students with SEND in Bradford during term-time hours. You will help learners overcome barriers and work with teachers to tailor learning plans in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs.
• Understanding of SEND and inclusive education practices.
• Calm, resilient, and adaptable with strong teamwork.
• Strong communication skills.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs.
• Adapt activities to meet individual learning requirements.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Provide emotional support and pastoral guidance.
• Work with teachers to deliver personalised learning plans.
• Promote inclusion and equal opportunities for all learners.
