Job summary

Tiverton High School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent as a minimum.
• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Experience of supporting students with SEN and utilising strategies to manage behaviours and meet needs, including supporting speech and language.
• Awareness of Child Safeguarding and the latest SEN policies to implement effective provision, including working with outside agencies to deliver EHCP provisions.
• Ability to effectively communicate on the pupil’s progress, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
