Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Stockport is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children and young adults with Autism and complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive school environment.

This full-time, temporary role offers term-time hours, competitive PAYE weekly pay (£463-£500), and a path to permanent progression after a qualifying period, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults
• Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families
• Show emotional resilience and adaptability, remaining patient and positive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
• Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pupils with SEN, including Autism and learning disabilities, to learn, grow and thrive.
• Demonstrate effective communication with pupils, staff and families.
• Maintain emotional resilience and adapt to a fast-paced environment while delivering high standards of care.
