Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children and young adults with Autism and complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive school in Bury.

This full-time, temporary role is term-time only with potential to become permanent after a qualifying period. You will join a supportive team and benefit from ongoing training, competitive PAYE rates, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families.
• Show emotional resilience and adaptability, remaining patient and positive in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment.
• Be reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting.

• Work alongside a passionate team in purpose-built SEN facilities in Bury.
