Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people or vulnerable adults
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, learning disabilities, sensory impairments or complex needs
• Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and families
• Emotional resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, proactive and committed to making a positive impact in a specialist education setting

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism and complex needs in learning activities
• Assist teachers with the planning and delivery of lessons and SEN programs
• Monitor pupil progress and wellbeing, reporting concerns
• Promote inclusive and nurturing learning environments
• Maintain a positive, patient, and professional approach throughout the day
