Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Stockport is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support children and young adults with Autism and complex needs in a nurturing, inclusive school environment.

This full-time, temporary role offers term-time hours, competitive PAYE weekly pay (£463-£500), and a path to permanent progression after a qualifying period, with ongoing training and development.

Learning Support Assistant (full-time, temporary) · Stockport · £463 - £500 per week PAYE (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications) · Start date: September 2026

The School and Role

This is a highly rewarding, hands-on role where your dedication and skills will directly impact pupils' growth, confidence, and well-being. You'll work alongside a passionate, experienced team in modern, purpose-built facilities based in Stockport, that provide the ideal environment for SEN professionals to grow and make a positive impact to the lives of children with SEND.

This is a term-time only role with strong potential to become permanent following a successful qualifying period, alongside access to ongoing training and professional development. This role is ideal for candidates seeking meaningful SEN experience and long-term opportunities within special education.
