Job summary

Senploy is hiring a SEN Learning Support Worker in Lewisham. You will support learners daily with SEMH and academic needs, helping them learn in a safe, positive environment.

You will work with experienced staff and other education professionals, focusing on behaviour management, engagement, and social-emotional development to help learners thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential.

• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one.

Job description

A specialist SEN setting in Lewisham is looking for a passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting a range of learners daily with their SEMH and academic needs as well as creating a fun, safe environment for all to learn and thrive!

As part of the role, you will work alongside and be supported by highly experienced teaching staff as well as a wide range of other education professionals. Your role will be essential in helping learners manage and understand their behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life! You will be vital in creating a positive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, valued, and understood whilst attending the provision.

- Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)

- Start: ASAP

- Contract: Term Time only
