Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting SEN Learning Support Assistants to work in Greenwich in inclusive mainstream primary schools. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build confidence in a supportive classroom environment.

Roles are available on a full-time, part-time, long-term and daily supply basis to fit your availability. You’ll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to promote positive behaviour and independence.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEN in schools or care/youth settings.
  • Patient, resilient and compassionate approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Genuine commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Protocol Education is recruitingSEN Learning Support Assistants to work in inclusive mainstream primary schools, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. You'll play a key role in helping children build confidence, engage with learning, and achieve their individual goals in a supportive classroom environment.

We have a variety offull-time, part-time, long-term and daily supply opportunities available to suit your availability.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Helping children access the curriculum through tailored learning strategies
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Building trusting relationships that promote confidence and independence
  • Supporting pupils with personal, social and emotional development
You’ll be supporting children with a range of needs, including:
  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Learning difficulties and developmental delays
