Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one mentoring and learning support across homes, community settings, and schools in Woking. You will tailor sessions to each learner, focusing on confidence, emotional regulation, and life-skills alongside academic learning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with children or young people with complex needs (SEND/SEMH)
• Enhanced DBS clearance (facilitated by us if needed)
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge and practice

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support in homes, schools, and community settings with creative, interest-based activities
• Use trauma-informed approaches to support a wide range of additional needs
• Help development of life skills, confidence and independence, and model emotional regulation
• Offer feedback and reflections to track progress and adapt support
