Qualifikationen

• Hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant area from a recognised awarding body.
• Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience in a formal learning environment or as part of your Level 2 qualification.
• Have a minimum of 12 months’ experience in a formal learning environment.
• Core Knowledge: health and safety requirements; development needs; child protection and safeguarding.
• Essential and desirable criteria include effective planning, teamwork, flexibility, and communication.

Aufgaben

• Assist with the support and care of pupils with SEN to enable access to the curriculum.
• Contribute to inclusion of pupils in mainstream schools under guidance.
• Assist with operational tasks including personal needs and medical duties as required.
• Support in managing the learning environment, clarify instructions and encourage independence.
• Supervise groups or individuals during activities and assist with off-site activities as directed.
• Assist with administration and recording of pupil progress where required.
