Job summary

Engage Partners Limited is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker for a school in Wakefield to help pupils access the curriculum and participate in SEN activities. The role is term-time only with a fixed daily schedule 08:30–15:30.

The successful candidate will support pupils with behavioural needs, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment while ensuring pupil wellbeing and progress throughout the school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs in a school or educational setting.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assist teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
• Help create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme.
