Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a dedicated Tutor on-site in Coggeshall to plan and deliver adapted lessons for pupils with SEMH needs. You will support behaviour using calm, relational and therapeutic approaches and work with the school’s SENCO, therapists, social workers and families.

The role requires creating a safe, structured, nurturing classroom and reporting pupil attainment and progress within the school’s systems.

Qualifications

• Desirable experience with needs including ASD/SEMH/SEN

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering adapted lessons
• Supporting behaviour using calm, relational and therapeutic approaches
• Monitoring wellbeing and safeguarding concerns
• Working with SENCO, therapists, social workers and families
• Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
• To report and record pupil’s attainment, progress and results of assessments within the school’s recording and reporting structure
• Use data and records to set aspirational targets and plan challenging activities.
