Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd on-site in Bishop's Stortford is seeking a Tutor for White Trees, an independent school for pupils with SEMH needs. You will plan and deliver adapted lessons while supporting behaviour through calm, relational approaches and safeguarding wellbeing.

The role involves working with SENCO, therapists, social workers, and families to create a safe learning environment and track pupil progress using school systems. Experience with ASD/SEMH/SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver adapted lessons
• Support behaviour using calm, relational and therapeutic approaches
• Monitor wellbeing and safeguarding concerns
• Collaborate with SENCO, therapists, social workers and families
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment
• Report and record pupil attainment and progress
• Use data to set aspirational targets and plan challenging activities
