Job summary

White Trees Independent School in Coggeshall, England is seeking a SEMH Teacher to support pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and/or ADHD, PDA, OCD and ODD. The role will be delivered on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, in line with EHCP outcomes.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, use data to track progress, differentiate tasks, and work with TAs to support attainment, ILPs and annual reviews while promoting safeguarding and positive behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils with EHCPs across SEN needs.
• Provide quality teaching and learning for all pupils.
• Be accountable for attainment and progress of all pupils.
• Differentiate instruction to meet needs.
• Collaborate with TAs, teachers and tutors to support pupils.
• Promote literacy and numeracy across lessons to avoid barriers.
• Maintain a stimulating, well‑ordered classroom and safe environment.
