Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment are recruiting for multiple teaching assistants to support pupils with SEND at a well-respected special school in Birmingham (B12). Roles are full-time and involve 1-1 support for KS2-4 pupils to promote personal development and academic progress.

DBS checks are required, and a referral bonus of £50 may be earned for successful placements. Experience with SEND such as ADHD or SEMH is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEND is essential.
• Previous school experience not essential.
• Willingness to undergo DBS checks and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-1 support for pupils in KS2-4.
• Assist withpersonal development and academic progress.
• Support positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Attend face-to-face interviews as requested by Axcis.

Job description

Axcis are looking for multiple teaching assistants at a well respected special school in B12 who are looking for a 1-1 support for pupils between KS2-4. The key objective for the school is to promote positive changes in children’s lives through providing experiences that promote both the personal development and academic progress of the pupils.

The school are looking for enthusiastic people with experience in the following SEND.

• ADHD
• SEMH(Social Emotional Mental Health)
• Challenging behaviour

All roles are full time, long term with a view to start ASAP. Previous experience working in a school is not essential, however experience working with SEND is essential. Working hours are 8:30am - 3:30pm INDMID
