Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking an SEMH Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary in St George, Bristol. You will support KS2 pupils with SEMH needs, modelling calm and positive behaviour, and work closely with the SENCO and teachers to promote inclusion and learning engagement.

This full-time, term-time role offers long-term stability through to the end of the academic year, with daily pay in the £92.63–£97.00 range. DBS and safeguarding checks are required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children with SEMH, behavioural or additional needs.
  • Calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
  • Establish strong relationships with primary-aged children.
  • Good understanding of positive behaviour management and emotional regulation.
  • Consistent, approachable and able to maintain clear boundaries.
  • Works effectively as part of a wider school team.
  • Passionate about supporting children's emotional wellbeing alongside their education.

ASAP Start, Full-time, Term-time Only, Long-term to End of Academic Year, Pay: £92.63–£97.00 per day
