Job summary

Trust Education Limited is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Barnsley across different primary school settings, helping maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.

You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver individual and small-group interventions, adapting activities to meet learning, communication and sensory needs while promoting social and emotional development. DBS check is required and relevant TA qualification or training is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children in a school setting.
• Good English and Maths skills and strong communication.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Willingness to undertake DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support children including those with SEND.
