Job summary

Prospero Teaching, Barnsley, is looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to pupils across the school. The role includes 1:1 and small-group support to help learning and behaviour, under the guidance of teaching staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SEND, be patient, resilient and reliable, and able to adapt support to individual needs. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and training opportunities.

The Role

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support to pupils across the school, working on a 1:1 and small-group basis. You will support learning, emotional wellbeing, communication and positive behaviour while working closely with teaching staff and the wider support team.
