Job summary

Thomas Telford Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Specialist Behaviour Mentor to support students with SEMH within the Academy. You will build positive relationships, deliver targeted mentoring and help pupils develop emotional regulation and resilience.

Working 37.5 hours per week during term time (plus training days), the role focuses on individual and small-group interventions, safeguarding, and contributing to staff CPD, with a salary of £33,000-£37,000.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people and safeguarding awareness.
• Ability to develop personalised support plans.
• Good communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students requiring SEMH and behavioural support.
• Deliver one-to-one and small-group mentoring sessions.
• Develop and review personalised support plans and interventions.
• Support transitions for students on Offsite Directions or Alternative Provision.
• Collaborate with staff to promote welfare and positive behaviour.
