Job summary

Senovo is seeking an SEMH Behaviour Mentor in Islington, United Kingdom, with PAYE PAY £105–£140 per day. The role involves mentoring pupils, recognising triggers, and promoting regulation strategies within a supportive SEN school environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs or distressed behaviour.
• A resilient, non-judgemental and dependable approach.
• Strong communication, de-escalation and safeguarding awareness.
• QTS is not required for this school-support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group mentoring.
• Help pupils recognise triggers and develop practical regulation strategies.
• Support engagement, attendance and successful transitions between activities.
• Use restorative, relationship-based approaches alongside agreed behaviour plans.
• Work closely with teaching and pastoral colleagues and record progress accurately.
