Job summary

Senovo is recruiting a Therapeutic Learning Mentor for a supportive specialist school in Bromley. The role combines learning support with relationship-based approaches that help pupils regulate, engage and experience success at school.

Pay: £100 - £135 per day PAYE. Contract: Full time. Location: Bromley. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and complete Senovo’s compliance process, including suitable references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEMH education or related mentoring roles.
• Calm, respectful, restorative approaches to pupil support.
• Understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, and consistent routines.
• QTS not required for this support role.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent mentoring and classroom support for pupils with SEMH needs.
• Help pupils use regulation strategies and return to learning.
• Deliver individual or small-group activities to build confidence and engagement.
• Share observations with teaching and pastoral colleagues to maintain consistent support.
