Anchor Group Services is recruiting for a Security Supervisor / Controller to join The Elephant project in London. You will lead frontline security teams, coordinate CCTV operations, and manage incident responses across a mixed-use development.

This role focuses on safety, customer service, and maintaining high security standards. You will supervise day-to-day security operations from the control room and site, delivering briefings and ensuring GDPR-compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Previous Security Supervisor/Team Leader experience.
• Experience operating CCTV and security monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all security operations during your shift, acting as the primary escalation point for incidents and emergencies.
• Manage deployment and performance of the security team, ensuring adequate resource levels.
• Oversee Security Control Room operations, CCTV monitoring, incident response and GDPR compliance.
• Deliver shift briefings and operational updates to keep teams aligned with site priorities.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, anti-social behaviour, welfare concerns and emergencies with external agencies as required.
• Conduct patrols, inspections and compliance checks across all areas including contractor oversight.
• Prepare reports, investigations and operational documentation and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, development and welfare of operational staff.
• Ensure site procedures and safety requirements are consistently followed.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement and promote professionalism and customer service.

About the Role

As a Security Supervisor / Controller,you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of security operationsacross The Elephant. Working from both the Security Control Room and across thewider development, you will supervise frontline teams, coordinate incidentresponses, oversee CCTV systems, and help maintain a safe, secure and welcomingenvironment for residents, visitors and occupiers.

Acting as the primary point ofescalation for operational issues, you will support the Dual Services Managerin delivering exceptional service standards, effective security operations, anda positive customer experience across the development.

Duties Include:

• Lead and supervise all securityoperations during your allocated shift, acting as the primary escalation pointfor incidents, emergencies, and operational issues.
  
• Manage the deployment and performanceof the security team, ensuring appropriate resource levels are maintained.
  
• Oversee Security Control Roomoperations, including CCTV monitoring, alarm management, incident response,investigations, record keeping and GDPR compliance.
  
• Deliver shift briefings, debriefingsand operational updates, ensuring teams remain informed and aligned with sitepriorities.
  
• Coordinate responses to incidents,anti-social behaviour, suspicious activity, welfare concerns and emergencies,liaising with external agencies where required.
  
• Conduct patrols, inspections andcompliance checks across retail, residential and public areas, includingcontractor monitoring and permit-to-work activities.
  
• Prepare reports, investigations andoperational documentation, ensuring incidents are accurately recorded andresolved.
  
• Support the recruitment, onboarding,development, welfare and performance management of operational staff.
  
• Ensure Assignment Instructions, siteprocedures, health & safety requirements and company standards areconsistently followed.
  
• Identifyoperational risks and opportunities for improvement, promoting a culture ofprofessionalism, accountability and excellent customer service.
  

Requirements

• Essential: ValidSIA Door Supervisor (DS) Licence.
  
• Essential: Valid SIA CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence.
  
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
  
• Previous Security Supervisor, Team Leader orControl Room experience.
  
• Previous experience operating CCTV and securitymonitoring systems.
  
• Strong incident management and decision-makingskills.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• High standard of report writing and documentation.
  
• Customer service experience and confidencemanaging conflict professionally.
  
• Ability to work under pressure within a fast-pacedenvironment.
  
• Professionalappearance and leadership qualities.
