Anchor Group Services is recruiting for a Security Supervisor / Controller to join The Elephant project in London. You will lead frontline security teams, coordinate CCTV operations, and manage incident responses across a mixed-use development.

This role focuses on safety, customer service, and maintaining high security standards. You will supervise day-to-day security operations from the control room and site, delivering briefings and ensuring GDPR-compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• Valid SIA CCTV Licence.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Previous Security Supervisor/Team Leader experience.
• Experience operating CCTV and security monitoring systems.
• Strong incident management and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High standard of report writing and documentation.
• Customer service experience and confident handling conflicts.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all security operations during your shift, acting as the primary escalation point for incidents and emergencies.
• Manage deployment and performance of the security team, ensuring adequate resource levels.
• Oversee Security Control Room operations, CCTV monitoring, incident response and GDPR compliance.
• Deliver shift briefings and operational updates to keep teams aligned with site priorities.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, anti-social behaviour, welfare concerns and emergencies with external agencies as required.
• Conduct patrols, inspections and compliance checks across all areas including contractor oversight.
• Prepare reports, investigations and operational documentation and ensure timely resolutions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, development and welfare of operational staff.
• Ensure site procedures and safety requirements are consistently followed.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement and promote professionalism and customer service.
